List of Literary festivals in Ireland

Whatever else about the state of things, culture is thriving on the island. So if you’re visiting Ireland, why not co-ordinate it with one of these festivals? They’re mighty. The reason so many writers and artists live here, and love coming here.

I have to thank O’Bhéal for this list, which includes festivals that incorporate an aspect of poetry. And the list will grow! If you know of any festivals I’ve left out, please leave a comment. For new festival organisers, this list might help you to select a less busy month to host your own festival.
